Many vocalists and singers spend lots of time auditioning for different singing gigs. Maybe up until now, you were limited as to how many different places you were able to audition at for a singing gig.
What if you could audition in literally thousands of different places around the world, for a singing career? How can you do that? You can do that with a DVD presentation of your singing and vocal skills.
You can simply record yourself singing with your best voice and your choice of whatever song you like to sing. You want to show your best side on this DVD, so you want to video tape at least 2 or 3 hours worth of vocal footage.
Try different genres of music. Sing popular songs that are playing on the radio right now, sing oldies, sing jazz, sing country, try to be varied here. You want to be well rounded in your skills, so you have a higher chance of landing a gig.
You don’t have to record them all in one day. In fact, take a few days or a week break in between and then only record 20 to 30 minutes at a time. Then, you take video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere, and edit out video footage that is not good or that you don’t want on the final DVD.

Break your DVD presentations up into 5 minute, 10 minute, and 15 minute increments. Include a main menu so that the person who is viewing your CD presentations has a choice to watch the shortest presentation, if he or she is in a hurry. If you keep your presentations too long, you risk losing an opportunity, because many talent agents are in a hurry and simply won’t watch a long drawn out DVD presentation.

Then, use your DVD copier to create the DVD and there you are. Now you have to send multiple copies out. This is where you need a DVD publisher. When you have a DVD publisher, you eliminate the long hours trying to copy one DVD after another manually. Now you can get 100’s of DVD’s done in a very short period of time. Then, you simply pop them into an envelope and send them off to talent agencies all across the world.
