How to Publish and Print Professional Looking DVDs and CDs

Creating CD Covers Can Be as Simple as You Want it to Be

One of the main things that seems to stop bands from going out on a limb and producing and publishing their own CDs is that they don’t feel confident designing the CD covers on their own. With the right CD and DVD publishing system, however, creating CD covers is as easy as anyone wants it to be.

Take for example the design software that comes with the Nexis100AP. With it, designing CD covers is a breeze. Want to use a photo from a live show that you’ve performed? Simply drag the photo into the editing box. Want to include your band logo or a graphic that one of your friends drew out for the band? Likewise, creating CD covers is a matter of drag and drop. Adding text is as easy as putting your cursor where you want the words to be, choosing a font and typing out your message.

Discworks software makes it easy to design CD covers. More importantly, however, using the Discworks software that comes with the Nexis 100AP puts you in a position where you can test out a couple of the ideas that you have, see what looks great and then save your work so that later, when you’re publishing a few more copies of the disc, you won’t have to struggle to remember what you did with the cover.

Ultimately, creating CD covers is something that doesn’t have to be intimidating and it’s not something that has to suck up all of the time that you could be using for other things. With the right tools, creating CD covers is as simple as creating the layout, saving the file and printing the covers as needed.
